The Key Account Manager (KAM) for Security & Surveillance Products is responsible for developing and managing strategic customer accounts in sectors such as enterprise, government, real estate, education, and retail. The role focuses on promoting and selling a portfolio of electronic security solutions including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and video management systems. The KAM will drive revenue growth by providing tailored solutions, maintaining long-term relationships, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Sales
Identify, develop, and manage key accounts in targeted industry segments.
Act as a primary point of contact for key clients to address needs, propose solutions, and resolve issues.
Develop account strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize market penetration.
Maintain and grow revenue from assigned key accounts through regular engagement and upselling/cross-selling.
Solution Selling
Understand customer needs and propose suitable security and surveillance solutions.
Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to create customized system designs and proposals.
Conduct product demos, technical discussions, and commercial negotiations.
Market Intelligence
Keep updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer developments.
Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to enhance offerings and competitiveness.
Project Coordination
Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, technical support, finance) for smooth execution of orders and projects.
Track project milestones and ensure timely delivery and installation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, IT, or a related field (preferred).
MBA or PG in Sales/Marketing is a plus.
Experience:
3–6 years of experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably in security/surveillance, ELV systems, or allied industries.
Technical & Sales Skills:
Strong understanding of CCTV, access control, video analytics, and networking concepts.
Experience working with system integrators, consultants, or government bodies is advantageous.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in CRM tools, MS Office, and report preparation.
